Contact Forms

• The information you enter in the Contact Form is internally used by our teams to communicate with you in regards to all enquiries and/or follow ups. Only we are entitled to using and storing this information.

Google Analytics

• Anonymous usage data is collected on our site through Google Analytics (GA). We collect all information after cookies are installed on visitors’ web browsers (with their consent) and then use that information to analyse website attributes like performance, page visits, time spent on each page, day-to-day site traffic, etc.
• We *do not* use Google Analytics to store personal information about you or the device you use to browse our website or make purchases online.

Our online shop and shopping cart system is driven by WooCommerce.

Use of Cookies

• We use cookies on our website along with a variety of plug-ins so that analytics on website visitors can be acquired. We also use them to track the total number of accepted/denied cookies, monitor information specific to the online shop and track social media channel(s) performance when content is embedded from them.
• You can opt out of cookies at any time by selecting “no” at the bottom of the page at the time of your first visit. You may also choose to opt out at later by navigating to the bottom of the Home page and clicking on the “opt out” link.

How Your Data is Shared

• Every piece of information you share with us via the Contact Form including your full name, occupation, email addresses and phone numbers or any other information is only used internally and not disclosed to any third party.
• However, the only exception to the above are law enforcement authorities, in which case we are liable to share any information that is requested. 
• Google Analytics retains generic information such as number of visitors per day, time spent on each page, total number of pages viewed, etc. It does not collect any personal or private information that can be used to track you.
• Data collected specifically by our online shopping cart is used for order tracking and management purposes only. Our shopping cart, WooCommerce, does not share any customer data we have in our records as we are not a part of their data collection policy.

How Long Your Personal Data is Retained

• All data collected by GA in regards to site traffic is retained for up to 14 months, which is the minimum retention period. This retained data is only in the form of site statistics and cannot be used to personally identify you or track your personal information.
• Our website, www.ashleymoorefurniture.com, does not disclose any personal user information to Google in any case, even though other websites with online shopping systems might. You can learn more about how your data is used by Google here.

Online Shopping Cart – WooCommerce

• None of your data is collected by WooCommerce as we have opted out of their data sharing policy.

How We Keep Your Personal Data Private

• Using a SSL Certificate, we are able to keep the website and all user data 100% secure at all times. In addition, two-level authentication is standard on our domain and hosting.
• We host our website on a secure server, although every buyer transaction is executed externally on a secure system depending on which service you choose – i.e. PayPal, AmericanExpress, Visa, mastercard, etc.
• We do not store or “safe keep” any website visitor data – however, some of the plug-ins we use on our website do. All these plug-ins are in line with the latest GDPR policies.
• Two of the most common plug-ins we use are Google Analytics and Yoast SEO. Please click on the respective link to learn more about the data that they collect.   

Updates to the Privacy Policy

• It is recommended that you visit this page from time to time as we may need to periodically update the Privacy Policy according to the latest laws and GDPR policies. All changes will be reflected on this page only – we would again urge you to visit the Privacy Policy on a frequent basis.
